A repeat client of ours tasked us with quite an impressive project; he requested a 3 car garage with floor to ceiling windows so he could marvel at his prized possessions while enjoying his beautiful backyard.
This was a size-able project, as the backyard was sloped and had a forest in the back, making it difficult to move equipment and deliver supplies. But nonetheless, we delivered, as always.
We first started but removing the existing structure and framing the outside of the new garage den. Then we installed new framing and a dormer per clients request.
Next, we added steel beams to reinforce the structure as well as built it out so our client could literally drive his cars into his living room. We pumped concrete over 100 ft across his backyard to prevent damage to his lawn as well as landscaping.
The result was a modern, open air concept garage den that allowed our client to drive his prized cars into his living room. We also added a paved drive way that can be turned into an entertainment space in the summer.
(A project of this caliber and budget took us 2 months to complete from start to finish.)
