Fireplace Re-Finish

Before

A previous client of ours who was satisfied with our prior work asked to have the outdated surface of his fireplace and mantle re-done to a more modern, luxurious looking finish. We helped the client select a finish and began working.

First, we stripped all of the old tile and carted it away, as well as the bottom pieces.

Then, we assembled a template to use for cutting out a solid piece of granite to be placed on the bottom portion of the fireplace, ensuring a clean, solid and precise fitting piece.

After

Once we had the template assembled, we went cut out a solid piece of granite and pieces for the wall portion of the fireplace. We then fitted the granite down and attached the wall portions.

This job took us 2 days, from measuring, making a template, choosing a material, and installation.
